On September 11, CRUSH kicked off its seventh annual festival. One hundred artists are participating in this year's CRUSH, and some started painting early; a few murals are already completed. Their efforts were rewarded that evening with an opening bash at 2750 Blake Street. The painting and parties continue through September 17; watch westword.com for updates. All photos by Kenzie Bruce.
