A Peek Inside the Children's Museum's New Adventure Forest

After more than a year of construction, the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is ready to celebrate Adventure Forest: an art installation, aerial outdoor course, jungle gym and playground all rolled into one. Designed and built by the museum's installation team, artist Wes Sam-Bruce, Bonsai Designs and Denver Parks and Recreation, the installation cost $2.3 million...and seems worth every penny, as well as the wait.  While most hours will be devoted to kids and their parents, there will be special evening events where other adults can enjoy the installation, too. Adventure Forest opens to the general public on June 3; here's a sneak peek.
