Protest Demanding Justice for Elijah McClain Rolls Through Aurora

On July 12, people from across metro Denver again gathered to remember Elijah McClain, this time with a car protest. Hundreds listened to speeches in an Aurora parking lot, and then more than 200 cars headed to the Aurora Municipal Center, blocking traffic for blocks as protesters demanded justice for Elijah and the defunding of the Aurora Police Department. The action ended with more speeches in the Community College of Aurora gymnasium, where people vowed to fight on.
