Ratio Beerworks, 2920 Larimer Street, is covered in murals inside and out; vintage decorations add a touch of retro chic.
What were once grungy warehouses, boring storefronts and abandoned buildings are being transformed into awesome craft breweries all across town. Some sport vibrant murals and locally made art objects; others display the best of DIY design. Step inside one of these eight breweries — three of which won 2018 Best of Denver awards — for a pour of something special, and you'll find a bar made from an airplane wing, a taproom with a death-metal motif, repurposed firehouse equipment and all manner of recycled lumber. Sure, beer's the main draw, but these hangouts are also some of the coolest bars in Denver.
