River, a a new bar, art and music venue, is now open at 3759 Chestnut Place.

River, a new bar, art, coffee and music venue at 3759 Chestnut Place, finally opened this month after owners Kourisa and Gil CdeBaca spent most of the year revamping the former Welcome Inn into a visual playground. The couple recruited a handful of artists to work on the walls before calling in another round of Colorado creatives for River's opening art exhibit, Roll Up, a cannabis-themed collection. It's just the first of many exhibitions and events, according to the CdeBacas, who let Westword inside for a tour.
