Northside Bronco Stop Closing Its Doors

December 30 will mark the end of the season for the Broncos and the end of an era for a store devoted to the team. Angel Duran opened the Northside Bronco Stop, 4100 Tejon Street, in 2014 in partnership with her mother's store, Esmey's Gift World. Esmeralda Duran had opened that spot in 1989 and was part of the community until she passed away in June. "My mom was a pillar of the community, and I became that. Even with my bad past. I took that mantle," Angel says.
