Ramen and bingo from Ramen Mafia at VFW Post 2461 on Sunday, February 11.
On a Sunday evening, leftovers in front of the TV sound less than appetizing; thank the stars for Ramen Mafia, which puts on monthly pop-ups all over Denver. This month, the noodle-soup guerrillas took over VFW Post 2461 (1350 South Broadway), serving up ramen and bingo for those willing to venture out on an otherwise quiet night on Sunday, February 11. Ramen Mafia's Jake Norris (also known for making whiskey) concocted a batch of spicy lime ramen served with a choice of smoked brisket or smoked portobello mushrooms. If you missed the action, Norris says you can still have a fun bingo night (minus the ramen, but with cheap drinks from the bar) while supporting military veterans every Wednesday at the VFW.
