The only thing more lively than the mural at 1855 Lincoln Street are the kids who've been painting it. Students from the Downtown Denver Expeditionary School (DDES) worked with artists from the So-Gnar Creative Division on May 4, 2018, to paint a new mural by the Emily Griffith Campus. The piece is intended to highlight the diversity of learners in Denver Public Schools; DPS staff and Board of Education members were invited to participate as well. May 4 is also Better World Day, and all EL Education schools, like DDES, celebrated the day with civic action projects.
