Think isolated motel cabins in the mountains can make for unrestful nights? We recently took a late-night trip along West Colfax Avenue, where much of the neon that once blazed bright was dark, creating sights that would creep out even Norman Bates. But Lakewood is a bright spot these days, and city officials promise the signs will glow again.
