This morning, officers with the Boulder Police Department discovered three bodies in a residence located on the 2400 block of Bluff Street — an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click “View Larger Map”). At this point, the BPD hasn’t identified the bodies and isn’t revealing whether or not the deaths qualify as homicides. However, there were what’s described as “obvious signs of trauma.”

Police investigate after three bodies found in home

Boulder police are conducting an investigation into the discovery of three bodies found this morning, Tuesday, May 26, inside a single-family home in the 2400 block of Bluff Street. The circumstances behind the deaths remain unclear at this time.

The deceased individuals, all of whom appear to be adults, were discovered after a passerby flagged down an officer to tell him she had come to the house to clean it and found someone dead or injured inside. Officers responded to the home at about 11:30 a.m. and found the additional bodies inside. There were obvious signs of trauma. Investigators are not releasing any additional details at this time.

The coroner’s office is on scene. Positive identification has not been made. The investigation is continuing. Updates will be sent out by press release when appropriate.
