Santa Fe Drive has long been one of Denver’s main drags, and when Interstate Kitchen & Bar opened at the corner of Tenth Avenue five years ago, the strip finally got a classic roadhouse — even if it was a brand-new spot in the middle of Denver. This section of Santa Fe has changed a lot over the past half-decade, with increasingly upscale businesses and residences in the area, but Interstate remains a must-stop.

Interstate Kitchen and Bar opened five years ago at 1001 Santa Fe Drive, and thie restaurant/bar/neighborhood hang will be celebrating with specials and free mini cupcakes from 11:30 a.m. until close.
