Troy Guard, one of Denver's most prolific restaurateurs, is having a busy couple of weeks. After launching Los Chingones Stapleton on June 26, he's opening his first breakfast restaurant, Hashtag, the week of July 10 (pending final liquor license sign-off). "I always wanted to do a breakfast joint, and it’s finally coming to fruition," the chef explains.

The sunny new a.m. eatery is located in Stapleton's Eastbridge Town Center (at 10195 East 29th Drive, just shy of Havana Street). Expect breakfast classics as well as Hawaiian- and Asian-inspired dishes from loco moco to kimchi fried rice. For a sweeter breakfast experience, there will also be fresh-baked cinnamon rolls and Lucky Charms waffles. With the arrival of Hashtag, Stapleton's east end is becoming a great place for early risers. All photos by Danielle Lirette.
