Freshly back from space, William Shatner landed at the first FAN EXPO Denver on October 31. "I'd never say I was an astronaut. Maybe a half-ASStronaut," he told fans, most of whom knew him best as Captain Kirk of Star Trek. During a 45-minute talk, the 90-year-old actor described his trip on Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin rocket, and also discussed climate change."In those four minutes of weightlessness I was overcome with a great sadness," he said. "A sadness of what we are doing to that fifty or so miles of thin air we call our atmosphere. I looked down at earth, the great giver of life. I looked up at death, darkness."
