Opening Night Celebration: Fringe Daily C.R.A.B. host Dave Burdick, a native Boulder funny man and journalist, will provide the patter during tonight’s party and All You Can Artist Buffet, featuring one-minute performance previews and quickie interviews with Fringe artists of every stripe and discipline. The party starts at 7 p.m. at Boulder Draft House, 2027 13th Street, Boulder; admission is $5 for ordinary folks and free for Fringe folks. Isadora’s Free Play: The first official performance of the Fringe, an al fresco dance performance by the Chitty/Freedman Dance Collective, kicks off for your fringing pleasure tonight at 5:30 p.m. on a hillside at the Settler’s Park Trailhead on the junction of Pearl Street and Canyon Boulevard. Hiking shoes are recommended; admission is $5 to $7. Performances continue daily at the same time and place, through Saturday.
