In a way, cats make terrible pets. For one thing, they obviously hate being pets -- they're predatory, spiteful and aloof, and no matter how much you love them, they will never, ever give a single shit about you. On the other hand, the very fact that cats hate being pets so much is the very thing that makes them, in a way, the best pets; with their humorless demeanor and constant indignation at being subjected to humanity's stupid behavior, the potential for cat-related schadenfreude is endless. They also, as this video confirms, make the most hapless bumble-bees of all time.

For real, though: Watch that and then tell me that cat wouldn't murder its owner in cold blood if given half half an opportunity. It may hate its own life, true, but that doesn't even come close to how much it hates its owner. Then again, cats are also quick to forget a humiliation; take the costume off and wait 10 minutes -- it's be back snuggling in your lap as soon as the heat clicks off.
