Forget about Santa for a moment: Tonight’s Downtown Littleton Elf Crawl is focused on the unsung heroes of Christmas, Santa’s little helpers.

The inaugural event includes ten different stores within walking distance of each other; anyone who registers gets three tickets that can be used at any of those establishments. Organizers will also be handing out commemorative cups, and while costumes are definitely encouraged, you don’t need to worry about an elf hat — they’ll provide one for you.

“We’ve got a great downtown area in Littleton, with shops and restaurants and bars,” notes town spokeswoman Becky Motchan. “We figured we could invite people to come down and shop for Small Business Saturday, then stick around and have some fun.”

Check in at Delizios, 2299 West Main Street, starting at 7 p.m., then make your merry way around town. Admission is $20, with proceeds benefiting Inter-Faith Community Services. To register in advance, go to littletonrocks.com/event/elf-pub-crawl.
