If you were not a girl between the ages of seven and fifteen in the first decade of this century, then this or any other endorsement of Aly and AJ’s music is unlikely to convince you of its value. But if you were in that somewhat specific demographic and had access to the Disney Channel, chances are you had at least one dreamy middle-school crush that you associate with dancing around your room to “Like Whoa.” Somewhat overshadowed by the massively welcomed reunion of fellow Disney survivors the Jonas Brothers, the sister duo just returned with an EP full of reasonably good and properly glossy pop. The very ’80s “Don’t Go Changing” — that synth riff is straight Eurythmics — and “Sanctuary” are perfectly listenable.
