Colorado-based powerhouse Eminence
Ensemble is set to electrify audiences with a special performance of Pink Floyd's legendary
album "Dark Side of the Moon," accompanied by none other than the iconic saxophonist Scott
Page, known for his work with Pink Floyd and other notable bands like Toto and Supertramp.
The collaboration between Eminence Ensemble and Scott Page began at Burning Man 2023,
where they mesmerized a crowd of thousands with their rendition of "Dark Side of the Moon."
Now, following the overwhelming success of their performance, the ensemble is bringing the
magic back to Colorado for two exclusive shows during 4/20 week.
"Playing Dark Side of the Moon at Burning Man was a true dream. The serendipity was palpable
- it was the 50th anniversary of the album, a full moon, and the level of presence amongst the
band and audience was unrivaled," expressed Wil Snyder of Eminence Ensemble.
Tanner Bardin, also of Eminence Ensemble, added, "It means a lot to bring these shows home to
Colorado. Getting to perform an album that's been revered for over 50 years, with someone like
Scott Page who's a literal living rock and roll history book is mind-blowing."
Audiences at these shows have the rare opportunity to witness "Dark Side of the Moon"
performed in its entirety in addition to other fan favorites, accompanied by a member of Pink
Floyd in a truly intimate setting.
Looking back on the Dark Side set from Burning Man, Justin Neely of Eminence Ensemble
reflects: “For a moment, we weren’t on Earth… everyone on stage and in the crowd was
somewhere much more cosmic. What was only an hour of music felt like a lifetime of fulfillment
and happiness, all around. We’re honored and thrilled to re-capture some of this same magic for
the two upcoming Colorado shows.
