Violet Breeze

Violet Breeze is a musical collaboration between two longtime friends; singer, Alyssa Medina and pianist Ben Rafferty, who have shared the stage in a multitude of musical projects. The two have taken their favorite songs and stripped away many of the components of familiarity that you may associate with these songs to offer up the raw heart of the songs. “There’s a beauty in simplicity that’s often overshadowed in todays music scene by massive production in tracks with dozens upon dozens of layers”. Violet Breeze aims to please the listeners ears with honesty and earnest care to the little details that ensnare the attention of all in attendance.Expect to hear unique stripped down renditions of songs ranging from country ballads from the 50s, 90s alternative, Grateful Dead deep cuts, soul, reggae, rock, blues, jazz and everything in between. “Remember, If it’s good it’s good.
