AJ's started out as an unusual venture: a weekend-only smokehouse serving meats slow-roasted in a smoker bolted onto the back of an old farm truck. Since then, it's expanded its hours and seating options, serving Wagyu beef pastrami along with traditional barbecue favorites like brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, sausage and turkey.
