The folks at 3 Kings Tavern are in the process of updating their jukebox and they need your help. They're creating a couple of mix CDs based around the timeless subjects of weed and pinball, and they're soliciting input on what to include. The request includes the plea to, "Please keep hippie suggestions to an absolute minimum" and one would assume they've already considered the obvious selections in each category like the Who's "Pinball Wizard" for pinball and the entire discographies of Sublime, 311 and Bob Marley for weed, so consider that when making suggestions. You can leave those clever ideas as comments or messages on the bar's MySpace profile or just stick them in the comments here so we can all enjoy your deep knowledge of stoner pinball anthems.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
