While we’re not entirely sure we get the symbolism of the imagery attached to this flier — the focal point of which appears to be a figure who looks like Jesus leaning on an inverted hand drum in front of a vague cluster of men of unknown origin? — or how it relates to a show celebrating the exodus of the outgoing commander-in-chief, we likey. Always a big fan of anything hand-created, as anachronistic as that might seem. It was enough to pique our interest in tonight’s gig at the Walnut Room, which features Effektor, George W.
