How does one go from affable, unassuming club DJ to one of the hottest, most in-demand producers in the game in just under a year and half? Beats us. We're pretty sure, however, that Frank E can tell you a thing or about that sort of thing. After crafting hits for Flo-Rida, T.I. and Plies, homeboy was reportedly summoned to the studio earlier this summer by Madonna to work on songs for her upcoming greatest hits package, which is slated for release next Spring. (Nice work if you can get it, eh?) See Madge's memo about the sessions and listen to Frank E's alleged demos -- one for a track titled "Revolver," as well as a studio version supposedly featuring Madge and Lil Wayne, and another demo of a track called "Put Ya Lights Down" -- after the jump.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
