We're not going to lie and tell you we haven't been spending an unhealthy amount of time at the newly opened 1UP recently, because we have, and we're not ashamed of it at all. So when we saw this flier for the mythical Magic Cyclops arcade cabinet, we couldn't help but be excited and impressed all at once.
It's not like arcade cabinets are difficult to draw or anything, but everything looks correctly proportioned, skewed and otherwise like a real, old game. That game, apparently, is some type of Magic Cyclops-keyboard cat game that features seven buttons and no joystick. It also costs $8 to play, which is sort of outrageous for video game, but perfectly reasonable for a show.

It sounds like the show itself will be a bizarre amalgamation of a few things. First off, we've got Get Your Going doing a Power Point Presentation, which we haven't a clue what it'll be about. Knowing Andrew Novick, it'll be, well, somehow related to something of some kind of importance. The bands, as you'd expect from a flier of this caliber, are all videogame themed in some way or another. So if you're not willing to let your nerd flag fly or your fun-buttons dance freely, you'll want to stay far, far away from 3 Kings Tavern.
Speaking of nerdy: We'd be remiss in not pointing out this nerdy music night happens to fall on the same weekend as the science fiction convention, so spend your time wisely.
