Hard Rock Cafe's 40th Anniversary Memorabilia Tour hits Denver next week

Hard Rock Cafe's 40th Anniversary Memorabilia Tour bus will be outside the Denver location at 500 16th Street for one day only on Wednesday, June 29, from noon to 7 p.m. The exhibit includes the top forty most iconic pieces of music memorabilia from Hard Rock's collection, including Buddy Holly's signature glasses, Michael Jackson's jacket worn in his "Beat It" video, Jimi Hendrix's Gibson Flying V guitar and the wedding dress worn by Madonna on the cover of her Like A Virgin album. Ten local acts -- including Bop Skizzum, Rachel James, Coles Whalen and Julia Bryan -- will perform outside on Glenarm Street from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
