So uh, ahem, well, this happened. During a benefit show for the rain forest an all-star cast of performers spent much of the evening doing cover songs, all culminating in a collection of the crew doing Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
We can’t help but giggle a bit at the absurdity of what is essentially a glorified karaoke with some heavy hitting pop stars. Maybe it’s the crappy camera, but Elton John looks like a drunken elf while the rest of the singers seem hell bend on not enjoying themselves as much as possible.
Either way, we’re pretty certain they’re all reading off of a teleprompter in front of them because somehow, the biggest pop-stars in the world don’t know one of the most popular karaoke songs by heart.
