Winners picked to see the Sword at the Bluebird

Update, 12/27/13: Contest is over. Congrats to Darkcabal and mtnmc1. You and a guest will be our guests at the show this Monday. Check your email for details on how to claim your tickets. Thanks for all the entries and for reading Backbeat!

What better way to finish what was already a killer year of music in the Mile High City than to spend the night with the Sword at the Bluebird Theater? The Austin-based act is kicking off its two-night run with Helms Alee and Tauntaun on Monday, December 30. We've got some tickets to the show on Monday, and would love for you and a guest to be our guests. Continue on for your chance to enter to win.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
