"We do not know why he is assigned to the Broncos games every year. It is sure and complete torture for Bronco Fans to have to listen to his biased drivel every week," reads the petition. "Please sign this petition so our voice can be heard. We are tired of Phil Simms in Denver!"
Some of the amusing comments from signees include:-- I'm signing because Phil Simms doesn't give insight to the viewers. Instead he indirectly attacks the broncos organization and fans. Most likely because of personal matters possibly stemming from his son not working out when he was on the team.To access the petition, click here.-- He does not add anything to the games, he actual takes away from it. We have to mute most of the game! Rather than announce he gives his opinion on EVERYTHING, if you let him he probably would talk about coach Fox's underwear color is wrong.
-- Phil Simms is one of the most biased broadcasters (Cris Collinsworth is the other). He is supposed to broadcast the game not throws in his worthless opinions always against the Broncos.
-- Phil has the worst case of diarrhea of the mouth that I know of!
-- I'm signing because I am tired of Phil Simms' biased and un-colorful commentary. He (for years) has called the games, blatantly rooting against Denver on National Television. As I have no choice but to watch the broadcast as it's presented by CBS, I am adamantly against Phil Simms as the commentator.
