Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
A little over a week ago, we brought you a Madden 2009 preview featuring a stirring overtime victory by your Denver Broncos over the despicable Oakland Raiders. Today, something much weirder -- and much funnier. YouTube user aplzrg spotlights a bizarre glitch he discovered in a Madden 2009 matchup between the Broncos and San Diego Chargers. At various times in the video below, you'll see a Chargers defender twitching spasmodically on the turf, zooming around the field like a superhero on meth and, on one occasion (as captured in the image here) mystically floating out of Invesco Field at Mile High as if he's just been called home by the mothership. Mistake or clever new strategy to distract the other player? You be the judge.
