Today marks the two-month anniversary of Occupy Denver, a movement cemented in three firm evictions, four large-scale altercations, eight Saturday marches, and more than eighty arrests, many of them repeat charges. Six days after the anniversary of Occupy Wall Street, the branch that started it all, Occupy Denver will continue to adapt in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we've put together a small collection of some of the most newsworthy photos we've published in Westword.

Over the past few weeks, we have also spent time with the occupiers who call Civic Center Park a second (or first) home. Check out our profiles of Corey Donahue, Pat Marsden, Patricia Hughes, Lori Phillips, Matthew Messina Velasquez, Neil Therrell, James Gardner, Mel Van Nice, Billy Reno, Kenny White, Jim Andresen, David "Beard," Mike, Al Nesby, Tony Song, Dwayne Hudson, Chad Duffy, Chris Bidwell, Scianda Long, Jonathan Shepard, John Sexton, the Family of Love and, of course, Shelby.
