Reader: So what if cops responding to Arapahoe High shooting had assault rifles

The responses to our coverage of the Arapahoe High School shooting has been very emotional. Example: Many of those reacting to Brandon Marshall's shots from the scene were struck by this pic of a law enforcer with an assault rifle, prompting a debate about the weapons in general. Here's the comment of a reader who took exception to this tangent.

Deb Montgomery writes:

Really? There is a tragedy like this, and this man is here doing his job to keep our kids safe, and you people bitch about it? Huh?
