Instead, Pat Bowlen (Broncos owner), Walter Isenberg (hotel mogul) and Curtis Fentress (DIA architect) will all be inducted into the Visit Denver Tourism Hall of Fame for their support and dedication to making big bucks off of tourists. In a better world, the 2009 Inductees into the Tourism Hall of Fame should be going to people who are helping to create buzz about the Denver mystique…
For more than a decade, South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have drawn inspiration from their Colorado childhoods (using local legends Jake Jabs, Ron Zappolo and Casa Bonita) to create a cartoon that has shaped an entire generation’s perception and interest of life in Denver.
