Fractured Prune Doughnuts

The doughnut shop out of Maryland with the memorable — some would say cringe-worthy — name reappeared in Greenwood Village in early 2018 after a ten-month absence from the Centennial State, returning fried-to-order breakfast cakes to their rightful place. Not that there aren’t other options: The newly pared-down menu includes fifteen creations, and customers can also build their own, then watch the pastries cooked and decorated before their eyes. Our favorite? The appallingly messy but undeniably delicious Morning Buzz, which is slathered in mocha glaze and then rolled in chocolate cookie crumbs for a creation that will definitely get your attention (if only because of the effort required to keep your clothing clean).
