Large Homeless Encampment Near Civic Center Park Will Soon Be Dismantled

Owing to a rat infestation, the City of Denver announced today, January 15, that it would close Liberty Park, on East 14th Avenue near the State Capitol, and sweep the homeless encampment that had been growing there in recent weeks. Before the sweep, photographer Evan Semon captured scenes from the encampment.
