Bernie's Hot Dog Co. is missing its namesake dog

Bernie's Hot Dog Co., at 1601 Mayberry Drive in Highlands Ranch, is named after the pet beagle of owner Joe Zemla. But Bernie himself is on the lam.

"This past Friday night, Bernie went missing and he has not come home as I write this e-mail," Zemla says. "Our family, friends and patrons are all concerned....Bernie is not just our pet, but has become a community friend to many of the patrons of Bernie's Hot Dog Co."

If you come across Bernie, the family pet for fifteen years, contact Zemla at 303-999-5705.
