Help us weather the uncertain future

We know — the economic times are hard. We believe that our work of reporting on the critical stories unfolding right now is more important than ever.

We need to raise $17,000 to meet our goal by August 10. If you’re able to make a contribution of any amount, your dollars will make an immediate difference in helping ensure the future of local journalism in Denver. Thanks for reading Westword.

It's all fun in the sun at the Skyline Beer Garden, which popped up this weekend in Skyline Park at 16th and Arapahoe streets. Hosted by the Downtown Denver Partnership, the tented space offers burgers, bratwursts and, most important, a dozen Colorado brews, plus plenty of activities — from putt-putt golf to outdoor Foosball to live music.  The beer garden will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. through September 15, weather permitting.

And for more fun in the sun, Civic Center Eats is still on a roll in Civic Center Park, with food trucks, live entertainment and more from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.
