An Unofficial UMS Backyard Party with Tennis

An Unofficial UMS Backyard Party with Tennis

This weekend, the Underground Music Showcase hordes that populated South Broadway were offered respite from the crowds and blazing heat in the form of several intimate backyard showcases--namely, a backyard party put on by the members of Tennis.

Just a block off of Broadway, in a nondescript Baker-neighborhood house lived in by Tennis' sometimes drummer-sometimes bass player Patrick Meese and his wife, we saw a very different side of UMS.

Artists present: The Shilohs, Prism Wave, Tennis, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Tim Cohen's Magic Trick.
