This weekend, the Underground Music Showcase hordes that populated South Broadway were offered respite from the crowds and blazing heat in the form of several intimate backyard showcases--namely, a backyard party put on by the members of
Tennis.
Just a block off of Broadway, in a nondescript Baker-neighborhood house lived in by Tennis' sometimes drummer-sometimes bass player Patrick Meese and his wife, we saw a very different side of UMS.
Artists present: The Shilohs, Prism Wave, Tennis, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Tim Cohen's Magic Trick.
