When it comes to happy hour, it doesn't take a whole lot to make people happy. Cheap drinks, discounted eats and the end of the work day — or the work week — are enough reasons to celebrate. And if you extend your happy hour until 7 p.m., people will sing your praises.

But starting today, October 18, Arapahoe Basin is taking happy hour to a whole new level, with "a new kind of Happy Hour that’s all about skiing and snowboarding."

For six Fridays, A-Basin will offer $20 lift tickets from 2 to 4 p.m., ending on Friday, November 22.

The 6th Alley Bar and Grill at the base of the resort will offer $5 draft beers and $5 appetizers for these special early-season Fridays.
