Brewing Beer With Governor Hickenlooper at Strange Craft Beer Company

Governor John Hickenlooper gets a reward for his work at Strange Craft Beer Company.
Brewing beer isn't high on Governor John Hickenlooper's agenda these days, but as the founder of the Wynkoop Brewing Company, he still has a little beer-making left in him. On the last day of July, Hickenlooper pitched in to help Strange Craft Beer Company owner Tim Myers brew a Colorado common beer, made with all-Colorado ingredients, that will be served at Brews & Bites at the Governor's Mansion on Thursday, August 17. The Colorado Brewers Guild organized the brewing, and proceeds of Brews & Bites will benefit the Governor's Residence Preservation Fund.
