"This is my Cheers," said one of more than 300 supporters who gathered in front of Cold Crush on October 17, to register their objections to the bar's recent closure as a public nuisance. While fans of Cold Crush offered testimonials that were filmed by Urbn Media for a public-service announcement, venue owners Musa Bailey and Brian Mathenge collected signatures to add to their appeal of the public-nuisance citation that Cold Crush was given on October 12. Candles were also lit for BossMan Goodie, aka 29-year-old Tyrone Adair Jr., who was killed outside the bar at 2700 Larimer Street early on October 10. All photos by Lindsey Bartlett.
