The restaurant space that was originally built as Izakaya Den — and then became Session Kitchen when the Kizaki brothers moved their Japanese gastropub across the street — will reopen on Decemer 11 as Que Bueno Suerte, a Mexican and global Latin American eatery operated by the Mission Yogurt group (which also runs Que Bueno and several other food concessions at Denver International Airport). A dream team of culinary expertise, including chefs Dana Rodriguez, Vicente Sosa and Ivan Ceballos, has been assembled to deliver a bold menu of regional Mexican cuisine bolstered with dishes from throughout Latin America. Don't think burritos and green chile; think Yucatan-style pheasant, duck confit with Oaxacan mole, and roasted-bone-marrow tacos. Such good luck for Platt Park! All photos by Danielle Lirette.
