Triangle, Denver. VIP Party
One of Denver's legendary gay bars, the Triangle, stood its ground for decades on the edge of downtown. Sean O'Grady, Roger Kerns, Scott Coors and Dave Hurt have resurrected the name and space — a wedge-shaped building at 2036 Broadway — with an entirely new lounge and restaurant. Up front, there's a cafe (opening Monday, December 18, at 7 a.m.) serving coffee and grab-and-go food, but beyond that there's a chic, modern bar and lounge with up-to-date cocktails and farm-to-table fare. Here's a look inside Denver's hottest new LGBTQ destination from last night's VIP kickoff; the Triangle opens to the public today — Friday, December 15 — at 6 p.m., with the party running strong until 2 a.m.
