Inside Scout, the Omaha Fashion Shop Taking Over Buffalo Exchange
On January 2, a line of patrons wrapped around the block for the grand opening of Scout, a resale shop that has taken over the former Buffalo Exchange at 51 Broadway. Buffalo Exchange Colorado's locations closed over the summer after dozens of women accused co-owner Patrick Todd Colletti of various misdeeds, including sexual assault and harassment.
Scout, based out of Omaha, buys and sells fashionable used clothes and has a deep commitment to both the fun of fashion and saving the environment, and owner Kelly Valentine hopes that Denver embraces her vision. "We know that people are watching," she says. "And we are ready to build trust."
