In one of the best scenes in the spaghetti Western A Fistful of Dollars, Clint Eastwood tells the old undertaker to "get three coffins ready," then blows away a few of the Baxter clan for laughing at his mule. While this band might have borrowed its name from that film, it actually has more in common with Man or Astro-Man? and the Shadows than with Ennio Morricone, who soundtracked many a Western. If anything, the group takes some of Eastwood's grit and injects it into its instrumental, reverb-drenched garage surf rock. With fourteen cuts clocking in at less than a half-hour, these guys get in quick and hit you with one short, muscular tune after another.
