Although it's a basement space, the Meadowlark features soft, tasteful lighting and a well-appointed interior that makes you forget you're below ground. The intimate spot is well suited to singer-songwriters and acoustic acts who thrive in small places, where they can better connect with the audience, and while it's a go-to spot for both indie-rock frontmen playing rare acoustic sets and louder groups, it’s also a great place to see up-and-coming acts during weekly open-mic nights and outstanding players during its weekly jazz jams.
