Yeehaw! Dr. Temple Grandin Hosts an Exceptional Rodeo

The PRCA's Exceptional Rodeo created a rodeo experience complete with a mechanical bull.
On January 20, the real action at the Stock Show was at the CSU Spur's Vida building, where legendary Colorado State University professor Temple Grandin hosted the Exceptional Rodeo. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association led a posse of more than forty kids with disabilities through a variety of rodeo activities. “One important thing that programs like this do is prove to parents that their kids are capable of doing things," says Dr. Grandin, "and for some parents, that’s one of the most important things that they could learn."
