Here we are in the dead of winter with 60-degree temperatures. Sweet. If only Sweet Action Ice Cream, the awesome addiction at 52 Broadway that churns out flavors like brown sugar banana, blueberry lavender, baklava and salted butterscotch and Stranahan’s caramel brickle, wasn’t taking the WHOLE MONTH OF JANUARY OFF because of — sheesh — a vacation. “Yes, it’s true. We will be closed the entire month for winter vacation,” warns the website.
That just sucks.
The upside? You can stop licking your wounds beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, which is when Sweet Action will start scooping ice cream again.
