The Rib House, which got its start in Longmont, has opened the Boulder outlet we reported on two months ago here on Cafe Society — and business is smoking.
“It’s jamming today,” owner Tracy Webb told me. “It was a beautiful lunch. April 6 was our official opening, and April 9 was the grand opening with the ribbon-cutting and everything. It’s going quite well, and there seems to be quite a
buzz about the Rib House in Boulder. With the warm weather, the place is
rocking.”
I’m trying to set up a day when I can come in and learn all the secrets of the Rib House’s Kansas CIty-style barbecue menu. Unfortunately, Webb makes his employees sign confidentiality agreements — but maybe if I’m around, I can smoke out a few secrets.
The Rib House is located at 1801 13th Street in Boulder, and the number there is 303- 442-RIBS. This outlet is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
