In 2011, Jammin Joe’s moved from Wheat Ridge to its current location in Arvada, a strip-mall spot that was previously home to the Brickhouse Nightclub and the very short-lived Mind Bender’s. Since relocating, Jammin’ Joe’s has brought in a steady parade of local hard-rock acts, as well as ’80s hair-metal bands like Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango and Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth. But the spot recently closed to make room for a Walmart that is purportedly being built at that site.

The Iron Maidens show with the Blackouts and the Threatened that was scheduled to take place at Jammin Joe’s this Saturday, as well as the Modern Superstar show on Saturday, June 1, have both been moved to Cheers at 120th and Washington in Northglenn. The above clip features Great White’s Jack Russell singing “Save Your Love” at Jammin Joe’s this past November.
