Trolling around on this here interweb this morning, we somehow managed to come across a trio of blogs linking to vintage soundboard recordings from Rainbow Music Hall. The first one, recorded on June 25, 1980 during the British Steel tour, features Judas Priest — or, more accurately, the glass-shattering shrill of Rob Halford with some classic ’80s metal riffage — while the other two, (Blackfoot and Graham Parker and the Rumour), were captured at shows the year prior. — Dave Herrera
